This Privacy Policy explains how Prepped collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use imprepped.com and the related Prepped web application and services.
Prepped is operated by Brokerage Network Inc., a California corporation located in Long Beach, California, and is marketed under the brand name "Prepped by REALicense." When this Privacy Policy says "we," "us," or "our," it refers to Brokerage Network Inc. and the Prepped platform.
This Privacy Policy applies to the personal information we collect through Prepped, including when you create an account, purchase access, use the study tools and platform features, contact us for support, or interact with our website or app.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, products, or services that we do not control, including Stripe, Supabase, or Resend and their own services and policies.
Account and contact information: name, email address, login credentials or authentication data.
Onboarding and study profile information: target exam date, study goal, selected plan type.
Usage and progress information: questions answered, quiz and mastery scores, flashcard completion, study progress, readiness indicators, streak count, last study date, session history and feature interactions.
Transaction information: purchase status, payment confirmation details, plan purchased. We do not store your full payment card number. Payment processing is handled by Stripe.
Device and technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, basic log and diagnostic data.
Communications: emails or messages you send us, support requests, and responses related to refunds, pass guarantee claims, or account issues.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We also do not "sell" or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California privacy law.

Your account and study data are stored using Supabase, including a PostgreSQL database hosted on US-based servers. Payments are processed by Stripe. Email delivery is handled by Resend. These providers process information on our behalf in connection with operating the Prepped platform.
Prepped primarily uses browser localStorage rather than traditional advertising cookies. We use localStorage and similar browser-based tools to keep you logged in, remember session preferences, store theme selections, support temporary progress handling, and enable account-based syncing when you are logged in.
Supabase uses session-related browser storage to maintain your authenticated session.
Some browsers offer a Do Not Track setting or similar privacy preference signals. Because Prepped does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, we do not currently operate a separate opt-out flow for those practices. If our practices change and applicable law requires us to recognize browser-based opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, process refunds or pass-guarantee requests, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, or recordkeeping obligations.
If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or de-identify personal information within 30 days, unless we need to retain certain data for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, or accounting purposes.
You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we maintain about you. To make a request, email hello@imprepped.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.
You may unsubscribe from non-essential marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages. We may still send service-related emails about your account or purchases.
California residents may have certain rights under California privacy law, which can include the right to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing where those practices occur.

Prepped is intended for users preparing for the California DRE Salesperson exam and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information without appropriate authorization, we will delete it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
